LCMB appoints Richard Atkinson as Non-Executive Director

Richard Atkinson has joined LCMB as a Non-Executive Director.

Richard has built and led new venture teams in the science and engineering sector, including university spinouts, venture capital funded businesses, and independent start-ups. He has developed tailored strategy tools to help corporate managers respond to new product contexts, and taught these at Warwick and Aston University.  His leadership and strategy work is complemented by a strong grounding in product development, intellectual property and finance.  Richard is an experienced chairman of new ventures.

Richard holds an MBA from IESE business school in Spain and is a Sainsbury Management Fellow.  He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent his early career as an engineer at Ford in the UK and Germany.
