LCMB have worked with University of Reading to improve its environmental performance across the campus and has made savings of £150k to date and many tonnes of CO2. In total, the University has reduced its carbon emissions by 35% with their carbon management programme.
Over the last two years, LCMB have worked on a number of projects across their estate including:
- Development of invest to save business cases in 3 Science Buildings with savings of £22,000, 102t CO2 annually
- BMS and controls at the Whiteknights Campus saving £57,000, 278t CO2 annually
Further HVAC and controls work is ongoing across various University of Reading buildings and campuses.
