LCMB is pleased to announce the appointment of Shan Dassanaike as the new Business Development Director. With over twenty years of experience in growing and scaling businesses, Shan has a proven track record in various sectors, including residential, retail, healthcare, and commercial. His expertise ranges from managing land and property portfolios to advising on strategic land opportunities for private landowners, pension funds, and PLCs. 

Prior to joining LCMB, Shan held the position of Group Commercial Director and Chief Operations Officer at Leith Planning Ltd, a Real Estate Consultancy. He has been involved in projects across the UK with a combined Gross Development Value of over £250m, from modest residential schemes to major national infrastructure developments. Shan is well-versed in contract negotiation and exit strategies, ensuring clients are protected throughout the process. 

Shan has successfully delivered growth strategies beyond the UK market in partnership with investors and industry experts across Europe, India, Sri Lanka, China, and North America. His keen focus on customer care, experience in project management, and ability to identify the right consultants for projects and manage budgets effectively make him a valuable addition to the LCMB team. 

Shan’s accreditations include being a Member of The Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, a Founding Fellow of the Institute of Sales Professionals, and a Member and Speaker for Founder 4 Schools.
