Building Performance Insights
This month we are celebrating Christmas and our 10+1-year anniversary.
LCMB should have celebrated our 10th anniversary last year, but ‘you know what’ prevented that. So as we safely celebrate being 10+1 years old, we’re reflecting on how the world has changed beyond recognition from where we started 11 years ago. I am very proud of our team, what we’ve achieved during that time, and the huge differences we’ve made for our clients, their staff and customers. Read more about our 10+1 story here.
2022 promises to be an exciting year – if you missed it do watch our recent webinar discussing the trends to look out for. After what may be a difficult winter period, with further restrictions to reduce the impact of Omicron, I’m hoping we can put COVID-19 behind us next year thanks to the expansion of the vaccine programme.
We’re excited about moving to our new office in early January and are working hard to make it Net Zero Carbon. There, we’ll continue to invest in growing our team and our services to help you become even more successful in 2022.
Please do get in touch for more details on anything mentioned above and if you would like any help to make your workplaces Thrive in 2022.
Warm regards
John O’Brien

Trends Destined to Impact Workplaces in 2022
Our latest webinar, discussing the Trends Destined To Impact Workplaces in 2022, was an enjoyable and enlightening discussion. Expert guests were Rob Harris, Chair of the British Council for Offices (BCO) Technical Committee, and Steve Kellett, Sustainability Manager for the property developer Argent.
It became clear that if the pandemic has proven anything, it’s that the office is not dead. Now, we need to focus on the quality and design of the workplace.
The main takeaway from the webinar was that we are currently experiencing a profound and disruptive moment of change. Businesses need to be bold to succeed. The more innovative organisations will survive, others may not. And there are many things to do…

LCMB's accelerated ROI audit
Too many organisations spend large sums of money on the wrong initiatives that generate a poor return or even a loss.
This is why we created the LCMB accelerated ROI audit. It cuts through the noise and quickly, clearly identifies the untapped performance improvement areas within your buildings.
The audit uncovers operational inefficiencies such as under-utilised space and facilities, as well as cost and energy reduction opportunities, and then provides a clear plan for realising potential.
By implementing the plan, we guarantee the audit pays for itself within 6 months and thereafter generates a positive return.
Contact John O’Brien on 01295 576 000 [email protected] to discuss how the LCMB accelerated ROI audit can improve your organisation performance and return on investment.
