Managing Director John O’Brien recently joined a team of willing cyclists who successfully traversed 300 kilometres in Majorca, to raise funds for renowned UK hospital, Great Ormond Street. The current total raised stands at a staggering £45,000.
Alongside John, team members comprised a mix of University College London Hospitals NHS Trust employees, consultants and contractors.
John explains that “Majorca is renowned for having some of the most challenging cycling routes and terrain in Europe. It was a great opportunity to contribute to such a worthy cause as Great Ormond Street. Completing the ride and raising the money gave us all a tremendous sense of achievement. I also am now an avid fan of spin which was part of my rigorous training programme throughout the year.”
