The Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust (MSE) is one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK, serving 1.2 million people across its network of hospitals. As part of their commitment to sustainability, MSE aimed to develop a comprehensive decarbonisation strategy as part of their Green Plan. However, with energy consumption and emissions being complex areas, they needed specialised expertise to baseline their energy use and map out a clear strategy to achieve net-zero carbon emissions.
