Victoria studied at the University of London and Downing College, Cambridge and completed her Bar Finals in 1996. For seventeen years she was a lawyer for the Treasury Solicitors’ Department and ultimately headed up the Government’s Justice and Security team until her selection as a Parliamentary Candidate. This involved providing advice on military, prisons and national security matters, and representing the Government in court.
Victoria set up and chaired the Oxford University Hospitals Trust’s Benefactors’ Board. She has also been involved with a number of other local charities including Leonard Cheshire and NORPIP.
Victoria is very involved with her local church and serves as a Churchwarden and Sunday school teacher.
